Meet our New Members of the Design Team

I started making projects at a young age. My grandmother and mom taught me how to crochet and to sew. Later when my son was born in 1988 I started scrapbooking a little. From their I fell in love with card making and brag books. I also collect anything that looks like it can be altered.
I also enjoy wild life photography, gardening.

Designs from Andria:

I used another adorable image from Jessical Lynn Originals, this little owl is called "Brentwood". I wanted to create a pastel/patchwork feel to the card. I have not added a sentiment to the front on this occassion.
Ingredients:
Card - White hammer card (paper mill) Powder blue card (Paper mill).
Design Papers - Sugar Rush Collection (Basic Grey).
Cuttlebug - Roses (Embossing Folder) Swiss Dots (embossing folder).
Stamped Image - Brentwood (digital Stamp Jessica Lynn Originals).
Medium - promarkers: Powder blue, China Blue, Azure, Lilac, Lavender, Cool Grey1 and Cool Grey 3.
Extras - I used a Sakura white gel pen to hilight the areas of light and to create the faux stitching. Sakura Clear Stardust on the hat.

This is the first ATC I have ever made so Nightowl is lucky to be getting this. I have admired them from afar and always wanted to make one, and felt this complemented the card well.
Ingredients:
Card - Powder blue (paper mill),
Design Papers - Sugar rush collection (Basic Grey).
Cuttlebug - Roses (embossing folder)
Image - Brentwood (Jessica Lynn Originals)
Medium - see above.
On the reverse of the ATC I have added the Name, DOB and number.

I have used the gorgeous "Brentwood" again by Jessica Lynn Originals, this time shading him in greys and again I have glittered his beak and feet. I made the flower embellishment myself using ribbon glued onto a circle of card and then I placed a button in the centre.
Ingredients:
Paper bags - Ebay.
Design Paper - Sultry/Smart SUL-1151 (Basic Grey 21 x 12).
Card - Pink Glitter card (Create & Craft) Pink (Paper Mill).
Image - Brentwood (Jessica Lynn Originals).
Clolouring Medium - promarkers: Cool grey 1, cool grey 3, coral, blossom, pink carnation, pastel yellow, tulip yellow, pear green and leaf green.
Extras - Ribbon (stash) Button (Bunny Zoes) Cotton Candy & Magenta Stickles, Clear Stardust (Sakura).
It's been such fun working with these delightful images over the last few days. Why not pop over to the Scrappers Delight group to see what other challenges we have organised. Also big thanks to our FABULOUS sponser Jessica Lynn Originals.

Andria Design:
My first DT Assignment:

This image is delightful to work with, really easy to colour. I wanted to go as bright and as colourful as possible, when I think of "Piñata's" I think of Mexico and Fiestas and Fireworks.
Ingredients:
Card - Yellow card (Paper Mill shop) White Stardream Card (Mad About Cards).
Design Papers - Basic Grey
Stamps - Sentiment (Whiff Of Joy), image Piñatas (Jessica Lynn Originals Digi Stamp)
Medium - Promarkers : Cool grey1, peach, Burnt Orange, magenta, antique pink, Azure, Buttercup Yellow and Gold.
Extras - Gems (Anitas) Sakura clear stardust pen, sakura white gel pen (to highlight image)

As "Piñatas" are traditionally filled with sweets and treats, and the idea is you hang them up with ribbon, then beat them until they burst open and all the goodies fall out.
I made the box and filled this with sweeties for my Nephew as a little treat.
Ingredients:
Card - Yellow Card (Paper Mill Shop)
Ribbon - Stash
If you join up to our Scrappers Delight group over at ning(, you to could receive these gorgeous digi stamps to work with. Or Check our Jessica Lynn Originals and purchase some goodies of your own, she also has rubber stamps available too featuring the gorgeous Brentwood.

Meet our New Member of our Design Team:

I started scrapbooking many years ago when my friend because a Creative Memories lady. After that I kind of got busy with kids and all and really didn't do much. Then about 2.5 years ago I fell in love with Stampin' Up! and became a demo. The rest, as they say, is history. I love making cards and scrapbooking. It is my favorite way to destress after a long day as a fourth grade teacher.
I have been crafting for years, grew up with it! I am inspired by nature and my children. I love autumn colors and you will see those most frequently in my work.
I live with my dear husband, who patiently puts up with my papercrafts, and my 4 teenage children. We also have a variety of pets that keep us happy and hopping!
I look forward to getting to know everyone and being creative with you all. I firmly believe that creativity is the way to a more fulfilled and happy life!

So here it is:

More from our Design Team:

My husband and i live here in Scotland with our two teenage boys and two mad dogs. We have known each other for over 23y and been married for 21 of those years.
I love spending time with my family and all the mayhem and madness that involves, we are a mad bunch but in a nice way so i am told.
I love to create and always put a little bit of my heart into each project that i make as a gift for that special someone in my life.
I have crafted for as long as i can remember and my main love is working with pretty papers for cardmaking, scrapbooking and altered art. When i get the chance you will find me in my shed in the garden with papers, buttons, ribbons galore on every available surface...bliss indeed.
My inspiration comes from magazines, books, adverts, inspiring blogs but most of all my "papers" they seem to have a life of there own and know just what they want to be made into.
I have been lucky to have one of my cards published, be a runner up a few years ago in the "scrapbooker of the year" competition and last year won the competition for "altered art from the heart" i was over the moon and all with scrapbook magazine.
I am so looking forward to being part of the DT here on Scrappers Delight and sharing all the fun we are going to have here with you all.
Happy crafting!!!

I am the owner of Robyns' Fetish.. Home of the Digital Stamp and Sticker. We sell of coarse Digital Stamps and more. I also have a challenge blog and give away on Wednesdays our Wacky Wednesday Freebie. I have a Design Team that consists of 12 very talented ladies who are wonderful.

Meet me and more of our Design Team Members

I would have to say that I really got into the crafting was probably right after my little girl was born in 2008. I felt like this is a life that I want to keep recorded of her growths and many adventures within her life. As much as I like scrapbooking I would have to say that I really enjoy making cards. They are so fun and easy to proper!
I get inspiration from little things, sometimes it can be just a ribbon, a stamp, a die cut, and color. I do like looking throw craft magazines, YouTub, browsing blogs, and of course my friends photos in our community! This is all great inspiration, and sometimes I may take one thought and expand on it or mix it with someone else thought to make one new one.
I would have to say that my paper crafting abilities have defiantly improving! I find that doing the swaps on our community really helps because sometimes you can get great thoughts and inspiration just from someone else cards, how they assemble something, how they did something, and just being able to ask the sender questions. Practice makes Perfect so everyone has the opportunity to learn and get better, and develop their own skills and personality with in there own work.
My Background: I have been stamping and scrapbooking for 7 years. I started scrapbooking first when making a scrapbook of my honeymoon. Then, my friend held a Stampin' Up! party in her home, but I left there without purchasing any stamps and feeling that it would be a very expensive hobby. That same friend had a party a few months later, and after that party, I left with a long purchase receipt! The stamping bug had bitten me after all! It has taken me 7 long years to cultivate my crafting into something that people can actually enjoy! Those first cards are just awful! But, I have really grown as a stamper by doing challenges, and being open to suggestion and criticism. I have served on 2 design teams, 1 I am still on, AiFactory (digital stamps). And now this new one! Thanks Rebecca for this wonderful opportunity!
To New Stampers: Do not be intimidated by what others have created, instead be inspired by it! Take pictures of everything that you create. This way, you can go back and laugh at yourself and see how far you have grown and marvel at how your style has been cultivated!
What I Like to Work With: I am a cardmaker by trade. I try to fit a scrapbook page in at least once a year! LOL! They take SO long! And I really have to be motivated or challenged to create a scrapbook page. I put a lot of detail and thought into each page, thus the reason they take too darn long! I also love to alter items! My current favorite is making recipe boxes out of file boxes found at local office supply stores. I have even sold a few!
What Inspires Me: I am always open to inspiration. Especially color combinations. I love looking through catalogs at bedding sets, and even clothes have neat designs that I can take and apply to my cards. I also love architectural mags. where I can visualize layouts and see color combos. I also like to blog surf when I have the time, and take several ideas from several different blogs and put them together in 1 card. And most of all I love the thrill of a challenge! Give me a jumping off point and I'm as happy as a clam!
What do I Love About Stamping? 1. It's my creative outlet. I have always been artsy, but this is so much more. I can get crazy or subdued; go vintage or stay classic; go grunge or get whimsical. 2. I love coming up with new card ideas! I don't believe I have ever made the same card twice, as long as I've been stamping. Unless of course I'm making sets. 3. I love the finished product! I often sit down not knowing what the end result will be, and am always pleasantly surprised at the outcome! I'll often say that I can't wait to see how something will end up! LOL! 4. The thrill of simply creating! I just love to sit at my desk and just create. Even if I'm just playing around with a new set or an old one! 5. I have met some of my very best friends through this wonderful hobby! And thank God for the internet! I have friends all over the world! How amazing!!!!
So now that we are acquainted, go get your stamps and paper or pictures and paper if you're a scrapper, and come get crafty with us! We are going to have LOTS of fun this year!!!!!

I love to paint flowers onto canvas using oils or acrylics. But I spend more time on my love for paper crafting. It has endless possibilities. Paper is strong, yet delicate at the same time. I started paper crafting before it was called paper crafting. I have a passion for making different works of art by using the same materials.

Meet the Scrappers Delight Design Team

This was very busy successful craft business until 2006 when I was diagnosed with ME/CFS unfortunately by beginning of 2009 I had to give the business up due to my health as I couldn’t cope with the everyday work that was involved, I was so busy my health stopped me from running the business as my ME was so bad i was sleeping 21hrs a day and just hadn’t the energy to do anything bar sleep!
I still miss doing all the craft fairs throughout the year especially on the American air bases nearby and various craft fairs throughout the country.
Now I will try my hand at anything, as I love all sorts of crafting not just cards. I am now going back to selling all my surplus stock left over from my crafting business on eBay & esty ,but at least this way I can pace myself to how much work I do, plus it gets rid of all this surplus craft stock I still have from website.
Since I started crafting my knowledge and creativity has improved no end finding I’m learning new techniques daily and still enjoy my now hobby.
I have promised myself this year I’m going to try some more new techniques and experiment along the way. With more crafting tools coming onto the market so tempting it is to buy and try these out! But also I have promised, myself this New Year my craft room will be organized and tidy!!! Yeah right I hear you all say...lol
so hope this gives you a wee insight into my crafting life
hugs judex

So Who am I?
My Name is Andria and I am based in the Lake District Cumbria (United Kingdom). I am truly blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world. I have mountains and lakes to oneside and beaches and sea to the other. On a very clear day I can see the Isle Of Man and Scotland.
What About Crafting?
I started crafting as a hobby about 4 years ago now, using basic card making kits from "Lakeland" and various websites, I then subscribed to various magazines and became a member of a craft forum and my skills and techniques developed. I started giving my cards to friends and family and they admired them so much they started buying them from me. My website www.iona-rosedesigns.com opened in April 2009 and is slowly building up a good little reputation and customer base.
I have since set up my blog and wow, the inspiration out there has led me to develop my skills and passion for rubber stamping.
What do I love so much about rubber stamping?
Well apart from the hundreds of images available for any occasion, all you need is a little colour and the whole image comes to life, they can be used on cards, scrapbooking and my other passion for stamps is personalising candles. I am learning all the time, i have recently invested in pro-markers and i'm developing my colouring and shading skills.
How Did You Become Involved With Scrappers Delight?
I joined Scrappers Delight on Flickr and followed them over to Ning. It is a really friendly group and we have so many exciting and inspirational swaps planned for 2010. Rebecca runs the group and has worked really hard in securing some fantastic sponsors for us this year.
And Finally...
My advice to any newcomer either to the craft or blogging world is don't be shy, join in with groups, show us your work, but most importantly of all, learn...Create....and have fun.

I've been scrapping since I was 9 years old--using those large, heavy, often cumbersome wallpaper books. Then 12 years ago, I was introduced to Creative Memories and well, the rest is history! I fell in love with the craft. I love everything about it. As I developed my skills as a scrapbooker, I also discovered new friends on line and found support and advice along the way. Last February I started a blog, http://scrapmomsmusings.blogspot.com/ which has grown to 83 followers! I blog about my everyday life, post tutorials of things I feel my followers would enjoy viewing (they come from You Tube and are not my own as I don't have a video camera!); as well as step-by-step tutorials of paper crafts I've created; and share my knowledge of the craft in hopes of inspiring others. I've been published twice in Memory Makers which was one of my dreams and it finally came true. I've also won several contests over the years--the most recent being at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Manchester, NH 2009. I find inspiration all around me--from the colors of clothes, textures of nature, interior design, and of course, the many talented scrappers on line.
I love to learn and so I'm always on the computer searching for new sites and new blogs that will help me grow. I don't want to become stagnant and bored as has happened with other hobbies in the past. Besides creating layouts, I also create altered items and other paper crafts. The one thing I'm not that good at is card-making. I envy those who can create such gorgeous cards! My other hobbies include photography, reading, cooking, writing, crafting and collecting vintage items for my home. Other interests include camping, hiking, kayaking (I love the outdoors during the warmer seasons), visiting museums, going to the beach, watching old movies, and drinking coffee!
I would love for you to visit me at A Scrapmom's Musings.
