April Card Challenge

Trying to keep the motivation, so I have drawn this month of April's Card Challenge. You can join the fun on our Scrappers-Delight Facebook Page I am going to try and do monthly card challenges. and then maybe swaps and things as time goes by, but for now I thought it be easy to start with a challenge. For this one you can do the card whatever shape you wish just as long as its a unique card shape. The theme of the card is going to be up to you, with Easter here you can do a Easter Card or something Spring related. Feel free to post pictures of your creations on our Facebook page. Well the moment you have been waiting for has finally arrived.

Scrappers Delight - Challenge #1 Sweet As Candy

This is our very first challenge and our Design Team have been working hard and have some projects to share. This challenge was inspired by a recent discussion within our forum about what your favourite snack is to eat when crafting.

"You are required to make a project based on the "Sweet As Candy" theme. You could use stamps and embellishments on a food theme e.g: ice cream, chocolates, etc.

Or

You could base your project around candy colours such as strawberries and cream, or mint choc chip or Coffee cream."

Rules:

1) The following are welcome: Cards, Scrapbook layouts, atc, altered art items, inchies.

2) Please link your post in the comments section below (please link to your actual project  page rather than your  whole blog)

3) To be eligible to win the prizes you must post NEW work and leave a link to Scrappers Delight in your posting.

4) Tell us what your favourite snack is when crafting.

5) Links to old work/blog entries will be removed from the challenge.

6) You may combine challenges on your project.
7) If you do not have a blog and still witsh to enter you can EMAIL a photo of your project to me .

We have been collecting together some "International Candy" for you.

First Prize (this will be sent out from the UK):

A selection of flowers and buttons in pastel colours, a pin wheel, ribbons: the brown satin ribbon reads chocoholics annonymous, alphabet rubons and stickers, diamonte sprigs and 2 little cute fimo baby embellishments, perfect for gift tags or gift boxes.

**add to that a selection of 12x12 papers in candy colours**

Second Prize (this will be sent out from the USA):

A selection of very pretty 12 x 12 papers, embellishments, rub-on transfers and scrapbooking album.
