More Brilliant Bugaboo

Hi everyone, Andria here again with another gorgeous creation from our Design Team. This is another creation made with images from our July sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. You really should go check out this website as the images are just totally adorable, something for everyone.

Amanda:

Amanda says:

"Just LOVE these Bugaboo stamps. They are so stinking adorable! And there is so much variety in what Jodie designs so there really is something for everyone. I used the FM Flower (Fat Mouse...hehehe) for this card. He was printed out at 3.25 inches on white cardstock from Papertrey Ink. Actually I printed him several times because I simply could not decide on good colors. Ultimately I made him a grey mouse. He was colored with Copic markers and I just LOVE my copic markers. The ease at which the colors blend is amazing and even for someone as inexperienced as me with coloring, I think I did a pretty good job :)

The pink cardstock is DCWV and the glitter patterned cardstock is My Mind's Eye. I did bling him up just a little with a few Stickles (another one my obessions). The stamps are ones I just got in the mail from Clear Dollar Stamps. The set is called Heartfelt Sentiments. I also used a Fiskars border punch and some yellow ribbon."

So We will be back very very soon with our August projects and our "Sweet As Candy" challenge.

Please bookmark those dates
We will be back soon with more information

D T projects

Hi everyone, this is Andria here again stepping in for Rebecca as she's on vacation, we all hope she has a brilliant time and deserves a relaxing break.

I'm here to share my July DT Project, we were again lucky enough to have been sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

I used my Bugaboo image to make a card and matching gift tag for my goody hamper

My image was coloured with promarkers and then I added some black glitter to her dress and shoes and I added a few drops of brown glitter to the chocolates to look like sprinkles. The Design paper and ribbon were from my stash.

Well this is my final project for our Design Team as I have a lot of personal things going on right now and dont have as much time as I would like to dedicate to my crafts.

However I will be back to host our Sweet As Candy Challenge at the end of August
Please keep your eyes peeled for more news to follow

Batty about Bugaboo

Hi, it's Andria here again with a wonderful project from our fellow DT Teamie Jasmine. Again this month we were given permission to choose one Bugaboo stamp to work with on our projects. Here is Jasmines work:

Isn't this just the cutest little guy, reminds me of the "Whuzzles" (a cartoon on UK tele in 80's). That Ice cream looks good enough to eat.

Jasmines inspiration behind the card was a very exciting challenge we have coming up in August. So keep your eyes peeled for more info on the "Sweet as Candy" challenge.

I'll be back soon with some more creations.

Another slice of inspiration

Good morning, I'm back with two more gorgeous projects from our Design Team. Both projects were again made with Bugaboo stamps.

Jude:

I find there is nothing better than a hot cup of cocoa on a cold winters night, especially when your tucked up in bed listening to the howling winds outside.

Jasmine:
Jasmine made this tag on her computer isn't she clever? you can just print and go :)

Remember for the month of June & July our sponsors are Bugaboo stamps. Our projects are going to be judged by the fabulous Jodie and the winner can choose 7 yes that's right 7 free digi stamps for their own use.

For more details on how to sign up please visit our Scrappers Delight community.

Brilliant Bugaboo Stamps

Hi everyone it's Andria here again with some more totally stunning creations from our talented Design Team.
Again for the month of June we have been working with Bugaboo Stamps, please stop by the website and check out these fantastic images for yourself.

Rebecca:

"I used regular Card Stock, and a Wood grain stamp put out by Hero Arts and Cricut Wild West Cart for the Happy Tails and Platinum School Book for the Grass, Copic Markers, and Bugaboo Digi Stamp.

I made this card for my dad's father’s day."

Andria:

"I chose this stamp as I needed to create a Golden Wedding anniversary Card for a family friend. I distressed the image with promarkers (tan, sandstone, cinnamon, cocoa, burnt sienna and shale) and then put a layer of crackle accents on the top.

The two hearts were cut with a cuttlebug die and raised on foam pads to act as a buffer. The ribbon was from my stash and design papers were all MME Wild asparagus range.

The main image hides a hidden tag, the tag has the sentiment which came with the stamp."

You have to agree these stamps are just brilliant, something for every occasion.

June Design Team Projects

Wow where has time gone, we are so sorry that we have not posted for a while, guess time just runs away with you sometimes. So our June sponsor over at Scrappers Delight was the fantastic Bugaboo stamps.

This month we got to choose our own digi images to work with and as if that's not cool enough, our creations are going to be judged  by the super talented lady responsible for these gorgeous images Jodie and the winner can choose 7 of their own stamps as their prize :). For more details of joining up to our Design Team visit our community here.

So here is some of our very talented DT's creations:

Ginger

"here is my card for June

paper is My Mind's eye

and the stamp is CTMH

digi image is Bugaboo "

Amanda

"For this card I used the alligator balloon stamp from Bugaboo. It was SO HARD to pick an image to use since so many of them were just too adorable!

I colored him in with my copic markers and added a little grass.

Paper is from DCWV and the white card stock is PTI

Other items used: Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder, brads, brown Memento Ink"

Wow didn't these ladies do well, I'll be back soon with some more gorgeous projects to share.

More cards from our DT and a FUN ANNOUNCEMENT!

Today I have some cards for you from our Design Team!

Ginger:

The one that says "happy mother's day" is the one I have redone, both digi's are by AiFactory, and there paper was form My Mind's eye.

I made a layout using the digi paper from AiFactory, and the quote is from AiFactory, I think I got them all for May.... I really enjoy using the paper.

This little birdhouse was my favorite. Thanks!

Jasmine:

Showing us how she used two images from Aifactory selection of digital stamps. I just colored them and cut the leaves so the sign looks like it’s behind it.

Rebecca:

I used regular Card Stock on this card, with some embossing folders from Parvo Craft and Copic markers to color in the digital image from Aifactory. This card was apart of the Scrappers Card Challenge's group on Scrappers Delight!

Also just a quick reminder to our followers and members next month is going to be really fun!! Our Sponsor Bugaboo Stamps will be giving away

Stamps to the person that creates the best card from our Design Team! Don’t forget to check out her website and take a look at some of her stuff! So if you’re not a member of our Design group yet come and join! We would love to have you join in the fun!

More Projects:

I have wonderful projects to share with you from Andria over at: Iona-Rose Designs
She has done a lovely job putting these two project together for our Design Team at Scrappers Delight.

This is my second Design Team project for Scrappers Delight. Aprils Sponsors wer the wonderful Aifactory.
I took my inspiration for this card from the "Quote Garden" website with the following quote...

"Dancing is like dreaming with your feet"
I have distressed the edges of the papers and card to create a shabby chic feel and added pearls and roses. The mirry card I used to mount the image was purple, but I heat embossed the edges and it has blended the colour and created a holographic purple/pink feel.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and stickled part of her tutu and ribbons. I felt a sentiment on the front would be too much, so I've decorated the inside of the card and added it to the insert.
I've really enjoyed working with this image.

Ingredients:

Card - White hammer, pink (papermill shop) and purple mirry card (create and craft).
Stamp - Aifactory (digi stamp).
Promarkers - pink carnation, blossom, dusky pink, satin, blush, cool grey1,2,3,4,5, black.
Extras - Roses (wild orchard), pearls (stash), Cotton candy stickles (Stash).
Design papers - My Minds Eye.

I am hoping my card covers the criteria for the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz Challenge #17 - Girly Card with flowers.
Quixotic Challenges # 23 - How Distressing (edges of papers and cards have been roughed up with scissors).

This is for our May DT projects for Scrappers Delight, using this adorable image from the Aifactory. I just looked at the image and thought it was crying out to be used on a "New Home" card.

I don't have any sentiment stamps that are suitable for new home cards, so I hand wrote this one, it reads "Home Tweet Home".

The image was colored with my trusty promarkers and I cut it out and attatched it to the card with foam pads, adding a swirly flourish of gems to the bottom corner.

I added an embossed panel using a paisley embossing folder, to represent bird feathers swirling in the breeze. I have also highlighted some of the edges of the lemon card with lemon glitter.

Ingredients:

Card - Lemon, White (papermill shop).
Design Papers - Basic Grey.
Promarkers - Pastel pink, coral, blossom, pink carnation, vanilla, saffron, gold, sandstone, cinnamon, lime green, pear, cool grey 1, 4 & 5(Joanna Sheen).
Extras - Gems (anitas) Paisley embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Lemon glitter (doodlebug).
Image - Aifactory (digi stamp).

I am going to enter my card into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations - Challenge ~33 Celebrations.
Alpahabet Challenge - A is for animals.
Papertake Weekly - Sketch 40.
