So without much more delay I present to you our Design Teams projects!
This project covers part of my Spring Has Sprung monthly swap and DT project for Scrappers Delight. The image is adorable and so versatile with the sentiment box the fairy is holding being blank (would be perfect for Christmas). I made the gift bag using one sheet of card and followed a tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers, I covered the bag with My Minds Eye design papers and edged it with lime green stickles. The card does not need to be cut or glued and is securley fastened with the green organza ribbon. I used a brown luggage label (Fruit Pixie) to make the tag, I covered this with versamagic persimmon ink and edged with green stickles. I then covered the tag with torn up pieces of MME and Basic Grey design papers. I covered the whole tag with Inkessentials Crackle Accents to add a distressed feel. The adorable image was colored with my promarkers and glittered with stickles, again she was covered with crackle accents to match the tag and the sentiment "Fairy Happy Easter" was created with my alphabet stamps. I attached the tag to the bag with green organza ribbon and also attached a silver fairy charm to the bow and some green beads. I have really enjoyed working with this image, Thanks to our wonderful sponsors Aifactory and thanks to Rebecca for organizing another fab swap.
Jasmine:
I used the ballerina stamp, I tried to make the stamp look like it was stamped by hand and then the background is a crinkled up piece of paper. The picture is of my little girl at dancing class. I made it fit within a 8”x5.5” size so I can place it on a regular size paper folded in half and send it as a card… or I can just add it to my scrapbook.
