This months Sponsor is Aifactory!

I apologize to the readers and Design Team members that have turned in their projects but I have failed to post them here. If you have not heard Ning is having a change of heart to their free service where we have our network currently and I have been looking for a new home for us sort of speak. I have temporary set up our Facebook page till I can make the switch and still allow us to communicate throw there. Not the best service but it will work for now.
So without much more delay I present to you our Design Teams projects!

This project covers part of my Spring Has Sprung monthly swap and DT project for Scrappers Delight. The image is adorable and so versatile with the sentiment box the fairy is holding being blank (would be perfect for Christmas). I made the gift bag using one sheet of card and followed a tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers, I covered the bag with My Minds Eye design papers and edged it with lime green stickles. The card does not need to be cut or glued and is securley fastened with the green organza ribbon. I used a brown luggage label (Fruit Pixie) to make the tag, I covered this with versamagic persimmon ink and edged with green stickles. I then covered the tag with torn up pieces of MME and Basic Grey design papers. I covered the whole tag with Inkessentials Crackle Accents to add a distressed feel. The adorable image was colored with my promarkers and glittered with stickles, again she was covered with crackle accents to match the tag and the sentiment "Fairy Happy Easter" was created with my alphabet stamps. I attached the tag to the bag with green organza ribbon and also attached a silver fairy charm to the bow and some green beads. I have really enjoyed working with this image, Thanks to our wonderful sponsors Aifactory and thanks to Rebecca for organizing another fab swap.

Jasmine:
I used the ballerina stamp, I tried to make the stamp look like it was stamped by hand and then the background is a crinkled up piece of paper. The picture is of my little girl at dancing class. I made it fit within a 8”x5.5” size so I can place it on a regular size paper folded in half and send it as a card… or I can just add it to my scrapbook.

Didn’t both these ladies do a fabulous job! Thank you so much for all your work each and every one of you ladies!

Designs from the Team:

So I have some new designs here from our Design Team at Scrappers Delight.

Ginger:

Paper is My mind's eye for both projects
I really like both of these images from AiFactory, tho I did make a layout that I didn't have photos for...but it's what came to my mind.

Jasmine Wilmany:I received this digital stamp in my email, but then I opened it up in Photoshop and added some "noise" to make it look more like it was stamped with ink by hand.

This cute little owl stamp is from Jessica Lynn Originals
and Scrappers Delight has created and organized so many wonderful events and challenges!

I like to keep my creations on a piece that's 8.5" wide and 5.5" tall. That way, I can frame it, place in a scrapbook as a decoration or title or simply fold a paper in half and glue this on the front for a greeting card!

March Designs from our Design Team

Today I have two very beutiful cards to share with you from Amanda using Jessica Lynn Original Stamps.

I live near Fort Knox, KY. At the hospital there, they have a division called the Wounded Warrior unit, where soldiers that sustained severe injuries go to recover because they cannot be sent home yet. Many times it is lonely for them because their families are not local. As part of a scout service project, we make cards for these soldiers just to let them know someone cares. I was inspired to use this image from Jessica Lynn Originals to make a card for these soldiers.

March Designs from Jessica Lynn Originals

Here are some very Beutiful Designs from our Design Team for the month of March using Jessica Lynn Original stamps.

Andria:
Wow here we are in March already and I'm back with another DT project. Again we have kindly been given 2 gorgeous digi images from Jessica Lynn Originals. When I first saw this image it immediately reminded me of World War II. I decided that this would be my theme and I would go with a sepia tone and distressed finish.
In the UK the poppy is our symbol of remembrance and is used by the Royal British Legion who support our war veterans. I made my poppy from white tissue paper, coloured with a poppy red promarker and edged in black and dusted with black glitter. I thought it is away of uniting the USA and UK together.

To Read more on her blog please visit her blog at: http://iona-rose.blogspot.com/

Ingredients:

Card - Ivory Hammer card (paper mill shop).
Image - Jessica Lynn Originals.
Colouring Medium - Pro-markers: Tan, Caramel, Sandstone, Cinnamon and Shale. Poppy red and black.
Extras - White tissue paper (ebay), Black glitter (doodlebug), black button (old trousers) and gems (anitas).
Ink - Versafine Onyx Black (for distressing).

Thank you so much to Jessica Lynn for sponsoring us again this month and for this wonderful image to work with.

Kas:

These cards are for Operation Quiet Comfort and Operation Write Home. This months digi stamp is just perfect for both. Here are some of the cards I have made. Operation quiet comfort gives cards and needed personal supplies to wounded soldiers in the hospital overseas. Operation Write Home sends blank cards to soldiers to send home to their loved ones. We also make cards for soldiers that need some mail, and to know someone is thinking of them.

Meet our New Members of the Design Team

I love all crafts and like mixing them. I'm not good at following craft rules, but always willing to try something new! I have been papercrafting as long as I can remember. I am inspired by everything around me. I scrapbook and alter things and over the last year have started making cards. Hi, I am Ginger. I am from a small coaling mining town called Pershing, Iowa just a few miles from Knoxville which is the sprint car racing capital. I have son and a daughter. Both grown up.
I started making projects at a young age. My grandmother and mom taught me how to crochet and to sew. Later when my son was born in 1988 I started scrapbooking a little. From their I fell in love with card making and brag books. I also collect anything that looks like it can be altered.
I also enjoy wild life photography, gardening.
